Helping Mankind – A Vision of Grace Family International Ministries
17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
Isaiah 1:17
Out of every 11 children in the world, 1 will be orphaned and Their voices are our concern.
Most of the orphans have lost their parents due to epidemics, natural disaster, HIV, or desertion caused by financial hardship, break in family ties, prostitutions etc. When these desperate children have nowhere else to go, GFIM intends to become their guardian and they will become a part of our family in our orphanage! The homes would be run as a family and never as an institution because in a familiar environment children can feel an informal and transparent environment will allows all members to speak about their problems, which creates an atmosphere that is conducive to growth and learning.
GFIM is preparing to exalt the Lord through reaching out to the millions of orphan children all over the world. Since our formation, we have acted as instruments of Christ impacting the lives of those we serve. As the Church we are called to love one another and one way that we do that is by helping others. Many of us wishes to help these children, many of us wish to spend time with children in orphanages.
Motto of GFIM is to provide Proper Food, Healthcare, Education, Job Skills and Loving Home.
When was the last time you put your love in action?
Old age home
Even to your old age I am here, and to grey hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.
Isaiah 46:4
In the light of faith, the old aged are gift of God to the Church and to society, and must also be given sufficient care.
Change in family value system, economic compulsions of the children, negligence and mistreatment has caused elders to fall out through the net of the concept family. Homes for the aged are perfect for elderly people who are unaccompanied, with health problems, unhappiness and lonesomeness. GFIM has plans to extend considerable amount of love and happiness to the elders despite their age.
For older people who have no place to go and none to support them, GFIM’s old age homes would provide a safe haven. These homes would create a family like atmosphere among the residents. Senior citizens could experience a sense of security and friendship when they share their joys and sorrows with each other.
The God who made us also prearranged a delightful future beyond the certainty of growing old and ending our days on earth. “They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing” (Psalm 92:14). As the scripture says. And GFIM will extend the compassionate love of Jesus to the old.
